The goal of the Valor Martial Arts Karate Program is to develop a well-rounded individual at home, at school or work and in the dojo. Our program is dedicated to developing healthy bodies, sound minds, and unwavering character and confidence.
Head instructor and multiple time World Champion, Sensei Nick Intgroen has been training for more than 20 years and is the USA Men’s National Team Captain for the American JKA. He has traveled the world to train with the best and the highest-level masters from places like Japan, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Brazil, and all over the USA. Now his dream and passion is to pass this knowledge to his students though the training curriculum he has set in place. Each of Valor’s Karate instructors, including fellow World Title holders Kyle Baker and Kelly Duncheskie, have been personally coached and mentored by Sensei Nick, as well as other high level instructors and undergo through frequent trainings on the best ways to teach and help students grow to their potential.
The first thing you will do before stepping on the mats is explain what you are looking for out of your training, because our staff is 100% focused on helping you attain your goals. All of our World-Class instructors will directly support the growth of each student through a variety of classes, progressive challenges and individualized instruction and guidance. As a member, you will have the opportunity to join the Valor Competition Team, to travel and compete at all levels of competition available. This gives you the chance to travel, interact with other martial arts students and challenge yourself in a fun, safe way.
